01/30/16. New Paltz Fire Department responded to a report of a large campfire that may be out of control at 28 Old Mill Rd. Investigation showed a campfire that had extended into the surrounding brush and wooded area causing a woods fire. Mutual Aid by Modena Fire Department was rendered for standby in NPFD Station #1.
